Drilling my life in Subang Jaya, KL

Oops, finally finished my "Rock & Roll" November. Those experiences in both Youth Engagement Summit 2009 and Microsoft Events had forced my prespective dilate many times over. Otherwise, the challenge of UC application also incited me to contemplate truly for the first time to reevalute my fundamental ability - which I will interpret more afterward.

Yup, regarding my title, I am having my job in Kuala Lumpur now. Diverging from my first expectance - Get an IT technician position, the high salary fascinatedly impelled me to become a P1 wimax agent. I in charge the P1 branch where hold at Subang Jaya Carrefour. As Subang Jaya can be cite as a university town( A sort of university and education centre over there), I easily ensconced myself at a rental house which just lesser than 500meter from my work place.

My House:

My House Address: the SS15 section

As you can see: Taylor Business School just 200meter away from my house and the right one is the Taylor's American Degree Transfer Program Apartment.

My working place: Collaboration with one Indian and Malay guy.

No doubt, the first task to me is: Promoting and wheedling people get into the P1 wimax world. Everyday, I need to burst out all my enthusiasm for coaxing the apathy of people into the money inside my pocket. Hence, inevitably, it will be a best chance to me to get improving my english speaking and the skill of interaction^^.

After undergoing two weeks life in SS15, what I can acclaim is - I like SS15. Far from the prosperous fraction of Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya's are much better in its public security and there are full with aroma of study. So far so good~

Ok, back to the matter that I mentioned just now. Influenced by the motivation from Dr.Lee who lectured computer engineering in NTU and UM before, she strongly recommend me to get a try to the University of California and thus, I delved into the mentally taxing UC application. I completed it hastily as the deadline is 30 Nov. Originally, I will sit for my SAT Reasoning Test in 5 Dec. Due to my busyness during Nov, I was less confidence and not yet well-prepared for my SAT Reasoning Test, therefore, I postponed my SAT test date to January. Ok, the problem come, I didn't notice that UC will not accept the applicant's January test result and thus my application was indisputably unvaild. In other words, I can only withdraw my UC application, not that all, my registartion fee which 140USD for both UC Berkeley and UCLA are not refundable! Damn..I think you already can imagine what the consequence I have - I need to abstract some of my salary to fill up this cave T_T

Ultimately, my UC application indicated to the full stop now. I re-evaluated myself and dug into the deeper discussion with my family and my mind. I was suddenly confusing with my ambivalance of feeling, which my dream continually allure myself to strive for US school and in other way, the taxing US application really gradually push me to give up for it.

This is the paper that I used to decide my futher studies. A sort of schools gradually disqualify from my list.

Ok, my final decision out - I will only apply to Princeton U, MIT and Johns Hopkins U in my US school list. Wait..wait~, I heard some snicker behind: "Is this guy crazy? He desire to get into Princeton U, MIT those top US Ivy League School? Is this joke? " Well, yup, of course, I certainly comprehend that the dream and reality got their distance, the potential to get into those school are extremely tiny. I have my reason. My father's affirmation clearly show up that I must fund for my futher studies by myself, my familly have less wealth to support me. Hence, Princeton U, MIT and Johns Hopkins U are the top US school which provided the need-based financial aid to the international students, they will ensure all the admitted students meet the financial aid. Of course, Harvard, Stanford U, U of Penn got this offer as well(But I not interested in them at all). Consequently, the reality compel me to get try with them, if fail( I know I mostly will fail, if you want to know the reason, just feel free to ask me.), dream break, I have not regret about that, I only want get it a try.

Overall, same, my life seem glossy but full of caves. I need to back to my book now, SAT Reasoning score will be the vital part that waver the potential of admission and I also need to encounter with IELTS test in January, a challenge get going again! T_T
Last, I got 770 in Math II, 740 in Math I, 720 in Physics in my SAT Subject Test, the full score is 800.

Wish all the Best to me!

Yup, I just completed my SAT II:Subject Test last week at Metropolitan College, it's really a new realm of challenge which I never faced it before. No doubt, I took Math Level1 & Level 2 and Physics in my SAT Subject Test. Actually, I am quite confident in my Math Level1 & 2 but my Physics seem underwent some trouble. In SAT Subject Test, Physics require the candidate answer 75 multiple-answer questions in one hour, in other words, 48seconds per question, it's really a rush exam! I just skimmed through the question and circled the answer at one glance. If you thought to flip back to check your answer or waste more than one minute in one of your question, sorry, you would have no enough time to continue your following questions! Oops~God Bless Me!
My SAT II result will reveal on 24 November, thanks College Board.

Ok, Let's talk about Youth Engagement Summit 2009 (YES 2009)!

What is YES 2009?
The Youth Engagement Summit (YES2009) is a platform to create a cadre of engaged, active youth leaders dedicated to making positive changes happen in their communities and in the world. Youths are not just leaders of the future, they are today's leaders in their own schools and communities.

Hence, it is with this in mind that the Youth Engagement Summit has been established to bring together youths, active youth leaders, world leaders in business, government, entertainment, and the general public to a platform where opinions, discussions and experiences can be shared.

Just few month ago, I stumbled across this summit through some website. YES 2009 will select 500 special winners from all around the South East Asia countries who will receive the full free trip to this summit. Thus, I found it really incited me and I started digging into its application process. But of course, I knew that the potential to get this chance is quite low.

Quickly, few week ago, I received the offer letter from YES 2009~!After I double checked the winner list on its offical website, inevitably, my name really revealed over there!Amazing! I was extremely excited and grateful to YES 2009!

And more important, I found that several desirable speakers will give a lot of different talk during this summit and the speakers included the Biz Stone(Co-Founder of Twitter.com),Randi Zuckerberg(Marketing Director of Facebook.com,the founder sister!),Long Yongtu
(China’s former Vice Minister of Trade),Garry Kasparov(Russian living legend of chess who vs Deep Blue that one!) and many more~
Wau~Really a life-changing opportunity can be expected!YES 2009 will be the largest and most magnificent event that I had ever attended before!

My Dream Path

Well, well, well~ Finally, my graduation exam ended and now is the time to bid adieu to my wonderful high school voyage.

About My Grateful Heart:

Thanks all the teachers and all my friends who used to accompanying me pass through a sea of adventures during my high school life. It's really heartfelt and meaningful. Without them, my life would be a tortuous path leading to nowhere. It will not be far-fetched to say that their influences built what I am today. My mind, my personality had totally led to a new realm of vision which I never imagined before I trapped in high school.

About School:

Ok, back to the topic, My Dream Path. Yes, after my high school, here coming to my further studies now.Diverging from common students, I think most of you already knew that I am dreaming of topping a US school. Sure, serveral high ranks and magnificent US schools had always revealed in my short-list. After a great research and comparing my interest, here are those university which I eager to trap in and I will apply for them after all my exam result out.

United States
Princeton University
Cornell University
Stanford University
Pennsylvania University
UC Berkeley
UCLA

Australia
Australia's National University

Taiwan
National Taiwan University
National Chiao Tung University

Singapore
National University Singapore
Nanyang University of Technology

My UEC certificate will be valid for those Australia's, Taiwan's and Singapore's schools. Thus, the potential of topping those school merely depands on my UEC result. On the other hand, applying to the US schools will be a tough work, it's really a mentally taxing challenge. You will be not only required to show your grade but also show out all your fundamental abilities and essence. It is very difficult to define myself on one of piece paper, whatever word I can grasp will never have the richness of emotion they meant to convey the intensity of my actual feelings. I will continually pour attention into those application recently and share my application process over here once I done.

About Major:

I think it will be an easy decision for me to decide taking what major. Computer Science and Computer Engineering are the last two major which most probably I will choose for in my further studies. Since young, computer is the only thing ignited my mind with ardent passion. and I had had already dreamt day to day for becoming a man who as successful as Bill Gates or Steve Jobs in the computer's field. Choosing the Computer Science or Computer Engineering major will be the first step for me to move up the ladder of success.

About My Passion:

While all my friends enjoying their "examless" holidays, I still sitting on my desktop, fighting for the SAT examination. And more paradoxically, each time I really find myself allured by those joyful occasion and gradually lost my persistence in striving for my dream. Suddenly, errant speculation churning my mind, what the actual mean that I brought so much burden to myself? Finally I got that answer: I am greedy, I desire to enjoy the ultimate realm of education and indulging myself with boundless wisdom which I am always curious to learn more.Yet because of this expansive perspective, it have become the only motivation impelled me to continually seize on my dream.

What's more, in spite of the persecution of the school admission, financial problem also be a hindrance in my plan. My familly have less weath to support me on the further studies, in other words, I must try myself to get the scholarship or grant from any method that I can grasp.

Ultimately, my furthur studies seem glossy but full of caves.Wish me all the best!

One Month Remaining~

Time flies, coming to the end of the year, in other word, my high school journey will be completed soon.Recalling back, numerous scenes passed in quick procession through my mind, I had still planned to earn as many as possible accomplishments during my last year of high school and dreamt how my future could be day after day, so far, all the all just indicated to the full stop now.

Now is the time that I should abstract all the motivation from my body to fulfill a host of better and better achievements. When the numbers on the count down meter decreasing day by day, no more than one month ago, I will be taking part in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) at 22 October and come after this, I will get into the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) II,I at 7 November and 5 December respectively.Be frank, those two examinations are the white papers which be the main point to determine how far my future studies could go.

UEC is the my high school standard graduation test, it's stand for validating how much effort you have done during your high school year and it will be the effective key to open wide range of universitie's door.SAT is the only-test that top US universities were acceptable.Yes,obviously, I am dreaming to trap into a US university-which mabye will be a crazy dream to the common students among here.Applying to the US university is really a tough work, not only the SAT, they rather pour attention to the applicant's whole academic result.I will continually share my application process in the following post, it's really excited and full of challenge.I remembered I had interpreted little about it before at the MIT admission talks.

Here are my SAT Admission Ticket:

Push~push!push!Consumed all the book!Without any teaching, I could only learnt SAT from the reference book by myself~

Wish all the best to myself!
