OMG! Apple has announced that Steve Jobs will not be delivering the keynote address at Macworld 2009. Furthermore, 2009 will be the last year that Apple will participate in the conference and expo.
In it’s press release, Apple said:
Apple is reaching more people in more ways than ever before, so like many companies, trade shows have become a very minor part of how Apple reaches its customers.
This move would leave WWDC as the only major public event where Mac users, developers and media can expect from Apple.
Steve Jobs’ keynote and new product launches at Macworld have become tradition. The 2009 keynote will be delivered by Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. It can be wonder if this is a transition move for Apple as they prepare for Steve’s retirement.
I think that will be a extremely bad news for that Apple fans , don't cry~Let's look forward to the Last MacWorld 2009 Expo and say good bye to it~!
