Steve Jobs - Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish

Steve Jobs, one of the world's most influential people, chief executive officer and co-founder of Apple and of Pixar animation studios. Today, I am not once again intend to talk about his splendid achievements or his successful company, but sharing something extraordinary. He had been selected as the Stanford University commencement speaker in 2005. And no doubt, his inspiring lecture is what I desire to share with you all today.

Actually, I saw this video in two years before when I was in 17years old. At that time, I really couldn't understand what Steve Jobs was going to tell us. But something slowly began to dawn on me I gradually realized the essence of his lecture when I saw it again at TED.com recently.

Let's spend some precious moment to dig into his lecture:

Here are some inspiring sentences reveal in his lecture:

Of course it was impossible to connect the dots looking forward when I was in college. But it is was very, very clear looking backwards ten years later. Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something, your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. Because believing that the dots will connect down the road will give you the confidence to follow your heart. Even when it leads you off the well worn path and that will make all the difference.

Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don't lose faith. You've got to find what you love. Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
His absolutely inspiring talk ignited my mind with urdent inquiry. It lead me the precious moment to once again contemplate every strides of my life. Whenever life comes with a sort of setback and somehow depressed, those inspiration always again and again drive me back to the right road - Always stay hungry to desire to know more, always stay foolish to dare to dream the future. Don't lose faith.

Wish all dude will get inspiring with this video as well. Remember, time is limited. Stay hungry. Stay foolish.
